Hello.

Welcome to our little corner of the internet where we share our musings and chronicles of our family adventures.

Split Second

The cart started to roll along the path to the first loop-to-loop. The cart started to gain momentum. Then we were off! We were carried sideways and gradually vertical. I could not hear anything except for the whooshing of the wind and the shoutings of the people.

I was drawn into the dimension of a race track. I was running on the wind. Faster, faster, faster I went. Then I saw black. I snapped out of my dream and saw that we were in a cavern. We were going down. But then we took a wrong turn and ran off the track into a construction site. We rolled down a crane and rolled along a strip of metal, whammed into a wall, catapulted in the air backwards and landed back onto the track. We were safe. We then did six sideway turns, five loops and furthermore we went to the wackiest part. "BUCKLE SEATBELTS!" a voice thundered. For three minutes, we were suspended in midair upside-down. Then we were flipped over and it was over. The ride was almost over but not over yet.

Then it was the steep drop home. I was happy but faintly sad. I would never on the ride again. But I had hope I would go again. Them I climbed into the car and headed home.
